Position: General Manager Location: Folsom, CA Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team at Cantina Pedregal. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a strong business acumen, and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including but not limited to, staffing, training, customer service, financial management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities: Lead and manage all day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management. Recruit, train, and mentor staff to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards of performance. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards to provide a clean and safe dining experience for guests and staff. Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue, minimize costs, and achieve financial targets. Monitor and analyze sales and financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business growth. Cultivate relationships with customers, vendors, and the local community to enhance the restaurant's reputation and customer loyalty. Uphold the restaurant's brand standards and ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and guest experience. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry, preferably as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager. Proven track record of successfully managing a high-volume restaurant operation, achieving financial targets, and delivering exceptional customer service. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate, motivate, and inspire a diverse team. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient computer skills, including experience with POS systems, MS Office, and restaurant management software. Knowledge of local health and safety regulations, liquor laws, and industry best practices. California RBS (TiPS) certification Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of employment. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
